Great locker rooms with steam options.. Great locker rooms with steam options. The massage is market price but more consistant than other spas around town. The sitting area is fully stocked with refreshments and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place.…
The best spa in Portland! I've been a regular for over 11 years and there hasn't been a visit I haven't enjoyed. Very tranquil environment the minute you walk through their inner doors. My husband buys gift certificates for my mom, sister, and me every Christmas.…
Heaven in Johns Landing. I've been coming to Rejuvenation for a few years -- the service is consistently "best" and it just keeps getting better....it's like a piece of heaven in Johns Landing! I really enjoy their "happy hour" offerings.…
Wish it were like the old days...... I used to love this spa--begged my family to get me gift certificates every birthday and holiday. But after my last visit, I'll be looking for a new favorite spa. Too busy, noisy, and downright stressful. I actually got a massage that left me anxious. The therapist talked the whole time about very troubling things, the waiting room was filled with gabbing girlfriends, I kept on bumping into people in the changing room....let's just say, for that much money, I can find more fun ways to get jangle my nerves.…
Rejuvenation Day Spa.
I have been to Rejuvenation Day Spa twice since moving to Portland two years ago. I was impressed by all the positive reviews and excited to try the services, especially because it is located so
close to my home.
Overall, as far as "spa" experiences go, the environment was wonderful. Everyone is very nice and they provide great amenities like a luxurious bath robe, massage slippers, complimentary snacks/cucumber water/tea, private locker and steam room/shower that can be used before or after your service. All of this is wonderfully relaxing and definitely makes for a great spa experience.
However, the services themselves are about average and seem somewhat overpriced. I initially went for a deep tissue massage about a year ago and was disappointed with the massage itself as it was not very deep at all in spite of my prompting the young woman several times to increase the pressure. I left feeling like I had not really gotten a massage in spite of the high price tag. I did try again this year on my birthday for a special treat and this time, passed on the massage and booked a detoxifying algae wrap and mini-mani and mini-pedi instead. Again, the spa experience was wonderful but I couldn't really tell any results of the algae wrap afterward. The min-mani and mini-pedi were about average and the polish actually started to chip within three days of the services. Additionally, I wasn't very happy with the shape of my fingernails in spite of my telling the manicurist exactly how I like them shaped. Overall, this spa has a great and relaxing environment and may be worth it as a treat just because of the wonderful amenities but the services are over-priced for the quality received and I probably won't go back there as I have had much better massages, manicures and pedicures for much less expense in the area.…
