Portland >Saigon Kitchen Se
So Delicious!. I absolutely love the Buddhist Delight! The staff is always extremely friendly and efficient. The food and service are consistent with every visit. It's a great place to go when you just want good food without all the fuss.
best garden rolls in town!. mmmmm....the garden rolls are the best in town! This is my favorite "to go" place. The food is sensible and solid and very consistant.
Best Thai dish in Portland. The Hot and Sour Chicken is my favorite dish in Portland and the soups are wonderful (especially the transparent noodle). Service is prompt and solid, prices are very reasonable.
tasty, fast, friendly. We were the only customers last night when two friends and I had dinner at Saigon Kitchen. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and fast, and our food was great. Vegetarian salad rolls-- very fresh; vermicelli with tofu-- fresh with fantastic sauced tofu; vermicelli with chicken-- rated delicious; gluten with ginger sauce and green beans-- very flavorful and satisfying. HUGE menu, lots of room and parking, no ambience.
good on the go. We eat here pretty often. Good Sweet and Sour chicken and Curry. Not fabulous, but a good meal for a good price and no wait.
Saigon Kitchen is Bitchin!. I eat here at least twice a week. The yellow curry and pnang curry are my favorites. This is excellent, fantastic food. I always take carry out, so I can't say what it's like to dine inside, but the food is grubbin.
Absolutely Awful. I got tofu Pad Thai take out. The noodles were one big glob, no spices at all, the bean sprouts were slimy and the tofu was old!! Anyone who has ever had the misfortune of biting into old tofu will understand. I was absolutely disgusted with the whole experience and will NEVER eat there again!
I will NEVER go here again. I will never go to Saigon Kitchen again. This was, by far, *the* worst experience I have had at restaurant. I have been here before, and had decent food, so... naturally, I was expecting the same. I ordered my favorite, Pad Thai minus the egg. We requested mild, and the plate came with a pile of noodles. That's it. No flavor... nothing. NOTHING like my previous experiences there. We asked what was up, and the lady took it back and it was re-served to us with some added spice... nothing else. So now we had noodles and mouths on fire. We didn't eat it. Yet we still had to pay for it. They didn't even offer to fix it! They just gave us the bill and took a full plate of their mistake away... without a blink of an eye. They certainly lost this customer.
Sucky!. I am offended that the restaurant claims that it is Vietnamese cuisine. The hot and sour soup reminded me of watered down ketchup. Please do not get fooled by the expired "recommended" stickers on the door.
