This is the place to go for quick and Tasty food in the Brooklyn neighborhood. They have plenty of vegetables with all of their dishes and they actually marinate their teriyaki making it much more tasty. Their prices do not increase for their dinner menu.

Good for a quick decent meal. Used to go here a LOT for takeout. It had great prices and good food. Still not a bad value but as prices have gone up, quality has gone down. They heap on the rice and minimize the rest. Still, it's quick and convenient.

Great food, Good Prices, Complimentry Cockroaches. We stopped in here because we're avowed Teriyaki junkies and were impressed by the excellent food, huge portions and good prices. We were not so impressed with the large cockroach we found in my chicken and vegetables. Definitely NOT going back there.

It doesn't get any better!. This is pretty much the epitome of Teriyaki, honestly I can't imagine finding a better value. For the amount of food you get and how good it is I really don't bother trying anything else. $5.95 for Chicken Teriyaki that is almost too much for one person to eat in one sitting it is so much food, I've taken it to go and split it with someone it is such a generous portion!

Love it!. Always service with a smile. Beautiful presentation, cheap, flame-grilled deliciousness. Excellent tofu dishes, too!

You don't know me, and I endorse this restaurant. In the local teriyaki world, this seems to be one of the best all-around places, in my experience. It has plenty of seating, and the dining area is clean and well-lit. Restrooms are even available! The prices, many around $5-6, make me happy. And the food was quite tasty; the rice was nice and sticky, the meat-to-rice ratio was good (lots of places tend to give too much rice for the amount of meat, in my opinion), the teriyaki sauce was excellent, and there was a healthy amount of broccoli in the vegetables. I would have preferred a few more veggies, and the subtle, clear sauce on them didn't add anything, but this didn't detract much from the meal. I also removed a significant amount of fat and skin from the meat, but that wasn't too difficult as the pieces were fairly large--not processed, just pulled off the bone.

Also, the service was quick and friendly. While I ate, one of the employees actually came out into the eating area and chatted congenially with some of the diners. It was evident from her conversations with customers that these people were regulars (a good sign!). And what eating experience isn't enhanced by a casual dialogue on UFOs?

great food for a great price. I've been coming here off and on for years. The food is always consistently great and fresh and you get a lot for your money. Don't be scared off by the building. It is also great for takeout. This is definitely a great value.

Best Fried Rice. I think they should change your sign from "GOOD FOOD" to "GREAT FOOD". I'm a big fan of fried rice and I have eaten it almost everywhere in PDX. This is the best place to have chicken fried rice. The price is absolutely reasonable.

Faster than Fast Foods. At First I was skeptical about coming in to this teriyaki joint because the way the building looked. I thought this is like any other teriyaki place to eat. Not only do they have all the teriyaki dishes, but other chinese stirfry entrees as well. I tried the Black Pepper Chicken because the picture told me so. My non-adventurous friend had the Teriyaki Chicken. The service was extremly fast and the food was gourmet-licious. These nice-people don't fool around. I was very impressed.

Forget the rest....Milwaukie Teriyaki is the BEST!!!!. Excellent food, service, and price. Ample parking space. It is the gold standard for teriyaki. Milwaukie Teriyaki does not only specialize in the best teriyaki, but there are so many other selections you have to try. I swear they have the best pad thai and spicy peanut in town. Hands down!
