Best Sports Bar in town. This place is perfect! My family, friends and I have been coming to the Skybox Pub and Grill for several years now and always have a great time. The service, food and drinks are all of high quality and there always seems to be a TV on which I can watch my favorite game. The staff is exceptionally friendly. They know my name and are genuinely interested in what I've been doing. I recommend that anyone looking for a place to watch a game in a friendly atmosphere go to the Skybox. Where Everybody Knows Your Name. I love the Skybox Pub. You can find me here most nights, hanging out with regulars, yelling at Emory, and just generally having fun. Now that owner Dennis hooked up WiFi, I'm here even more. I also love to come here during baseball season because with 18 HD tv's it's usually pretty easy to get the Oakland A's games on. Cheers!…

A Real Pub. The Skybox is a thoroughly American bar but evokes the best tradition of a "public house" in western Ireland. Mom, dad and the kids are welcome. People actually talk to each other, are friendly and exchange robust chiding about their favorite teams. If you grew up, as I did, in a city where neighbor bars are as common as Asian restaurants in Portland, you will like the Skybox. If you're interested in an upscale, trendy, contemporary sports bar you probably won't. Go there with a laid-back, patient attitude. Make it a priority to talk to somebody you've never met. Enjoy the screens and don't be afraid to ask for a game that interests you. They can usually find a screen to show it on. (But good luck if it's something like Civil War day!)…

Best Reuben Sandwich in PDX Metro... hands down! Great sports viewing.. The Box has always had a great Reuben, as well as other items on the menu - The new LCD TVs are fantastic. There are enough that there isn't a bad seat in the house. No matter where you are sitting you're looking at a screen, more often, a few - The no-smoke atmosphere is a blessing for us non-smokers. For those that like to partake, there is an awning outside, along with some tables and benches. More bars should take a look at the Skybox and realize that people don't quit coming in, because a no smoking policy is enforced, if anything, it brings in more customers - A+++ for the Skybox!…
