In Short – Locals come to this uncrowded spot to catch a game on one of seven TVs and chat over a beer. The owners seem to know everyone and introduce themselves to regular customers. It's smoke-free, and so sparkling clean and friendly that families often throw birthday parties here. The pub grub here includes juicy hamburgers and Boca burgers, crinkle-cut fries and more substantial items such as lasagna or bangers and mash.

The Skybox is a thoroughly American bar but evokes the best tradition of a "public house" in western Ireland. Mom, dad and the kids are welcome. People actually talk to each other, are friendly and exchange robust chiding about their favorite teams. If you grew up, as I did, in a city where neighbor bars are as common as Asian restaurants in Portland, you will like the Skybox. If you're interested in an upscale, trendy, contemporary sports bar you probably won't. Go there with a laid-back, patient attitude. Make it a priority to talk to somebody you've never met. Enjoy the screens and don't be afraid to ask for a game that interests you. They can usually find a screen to show it on. (But good luck if it's something like Civil War day!)
- Pros: Ambience, welcoming atmosphere, friendly
- Cons: Parking could be a problem, but this is a neighborhood place.

Best Reuben Sandwich in PDX Metro... hands down! Great sports viewing.

The Box has always had a great Reuben, as well as other items on the menu - The new LCD TVs are fantastic. There are enough that there isn't a bad seat in the house. No matter where you are sitting you're looking at a screen, more often, a few - The no-smoke atmosphere is a blessing for us non-smokers. For those that like to partake, there is an awning outside, along with some tables and benches. More bars should take a look at the Skybox and realize that people don't quit coming in, because a no smoking policy is enforced, if anything, it brings in more customers - A+++ for the Skybox!
- Pros: Good fun place to have a beer and a bite to eat, while watching the game.
- Cons: Parking can be an issue, but the walk is worth it.

I've been going the Skybox for the past few years. I find the staff to be very friendly and attentive. The beer selection is great and it seems that the Red Sox win everytime I go! I don't smell like an ashtray when I leave and I enjoy seeing a place that's kid friendly. They've got 18 sets so you're gonna get your game on at least one of them if not two or three... I bet you could get the Muppets on Ice on a set if you asked nicely.
- Pros: No smoking, kid friendly, great beer selection, 18 HD sets... Nice patrons and staff
- Cons: Too much Yankee gear on the walls.
