Fabulous Eatery by day, Awesome House Party by night. Do you love being comfortable when you go out to eat, do you enjoy knowing the bartender on a first name basis, do you enjoy good food and awesome drinks and the coldest beer in town, do you enjoy entertainment on the weekends in your own neighborhood close to everything, then this the place for you. The penguin is quit accomadating to all there customers, young or old. They offer video poker, full bar, cool bartenders, good food, football on the big screen, karaoke on the weekends, just an all around great place to hang. come kick it with me I'm Here all the time!!!!!

Decieving Place. Penguin Pub looks like a great place on the outside. A dive that adverts Best Burgers, Chicken Strips and Fries, also Coldest Beer in town. My date and I went there hoping to find a great selection of burgers that sound tasty, unfortunately we were met with 1 bartender serving 15 people telling us that if we wanted food anytime soon to order something fried. Was she serious? She was; no chance even at one of these famous burgers. They did have a fresh french fry press and the fries if cooked a little longer would have been fabulous. We ordered the Chicken and Cod baskets, and they were not too bad for being fried. Chicky though, did serve one hella stiff drink for sure, the second 7&7 I had was damn near undrinkable it was so strong. My date had a Blue Moon but they didn't offer an orange wedge, not cool. They had karaoke that night (Friday) and the guy didnt sound test so the first guy sang in the mic but nothing came out. Place is just an average joint, I'll go back and see if I just went on an off night.

Best Fish & Chips, Fridays are nuts. This has just about everything a true neighborhood pub should have: Great food, amazing staff and fun patrons. I'm a french fry afficionado ... and if you like fresh cut, fat fries ... this is the place to indulge. Only the Buffalo Gap can come close with their also delicious fish and chips. The fish that the Penguin uses is absolutely scrumptous ... but the Gap fish is a hair better ... only a hair!

The fried chicken dinner is drenched with the seasoned flour in front of your eyes, as are the jojos ... and plopped into a state of the art fryer ... that always has no trans fat, fresh oil.

Tuesday and Saturday nite tacos at 75 cents a pop absolutely rule!!

The burgers and ruebens are amazing, but with the tiny grill ... the staff sometimes gives you a funny look if they're slammed.

Oh ... and everything is cheap!!

There's video poker for the gambler, darts for the throwers, and karaoke for the drunks on the weekends.

My only complaint is the crappy wine ... ick. The wine is really scary.
