This is one of my favorite places to go in Portland. Great prices, great staff, great atmosphere. Best shuffleboard venue around with 3 full length tables. $2 an hour to play, but you may have to
wait to play on the weekends. 2 pool tables, darts, pinball, and video poker. Great back yard with more games and a grill, but it's only open until 9 or 10. The food is far from gourmet, but pairs well with a cheap pitcher of PBR. Think grilled ham and cheese, tacos and hot dogs. You're welcome to cook your own stuff on the grill out back though if that's not your style. The place is definitely smokey, but it's never bothered me (a non-smoker). This place is beer and wine only, and cash only, although they do have an ATM inside. Every time I go they remember my name, and make me feel like part of the family.
Pros: Cheap beer, lots of games, tasty grilled ham and cheese, rotating schedule of specials like free pool, free shuffleboard, etc., easy free parking, and FUN
Cons: My only complaint now that I no longer live in Sellwood is getting there and back is a bit of a hike as it's almost on the portland/milwaukee border. If you need hard alcohol, a non-smoking section, or something healthy to eat, this place isn't for you.…
