Great staff and great customers. I enjoy myself at the Bear Paw. It's a quaint neighborhood bar. The staff is just amazing and they really go out of their way to treat you right. They don't measure their shots so you really get an awesome drink for a great price! They have an outside patio section if you're a smoker or just want to enjoy your drink outside. The Bear Paw draws a great clientele. Everyone is always laughing and just having a great time, especially on karaoke nights. The bathrooms aren't the greatest... that would be my only con about the place. If you want a great time with a lot of great people, this is the place to be.

Very Average. I live in the Brookland neighborhood and so I figured I would check this place out during their Karoake night, which is advertised constantly. Not only are their bottled beers too expensive for the location, the place lacks any charming interior design and the crowd, which seemed to be enjoying itself, were divided playing video games, pool and singing karaoke. For me, this is overstimulating and I wanted to leave immediately. The place's lack of direction was chaotic, the music (karoake and radio) were distracting rather than a good soundtrack level. It's a bar. nothing special. I would never choose to go here if I had a choice.
