Pretty much everything in my house that's in a frame was done here. They take the time to help you figure out what would best suit your style as well as enhance your artwork.

Three years ago my grandmother died, she was a wonderful artist, but like most self tought artists she didn't think much of her work and most of it was stored away in closets.

When I got back to Portland I brought several peices in to be framed. They took special care in displaying each part of a card she had made and were even able to keep her signature intact and prominant in the over all peice. Truly beautiful work that I am delighted to look at every day.

This is the best frame store! They really know their stuff and always produce excellent quality custom frames. I've had about 20 pictures framed there over the last few years and I love them! If you need anything framed, this is the place for you.

THIS STORE IS TERRIBLE!!!!! This place. THIS STORE IS TERRIBLE!!!!!

This place RUINED my poor mother's artwork! She brought in 2 pieces of work in November to be framed as Christmas presents for friends. She was criticized for only spending $200, but agreed upon styles/types of framing that fit her budget with the consultant. She picked them up yesterday and they were ruined! One of the pieces was completely off center in the frame, and the caption below the drawing of the other piece was CUT OFF!! The caption MADE the drawing. She brought them back today, and said that she brought these in a month ago to be framed, etc, and the lady cut her off and said "Oh I remember you....You didn't want to spend very much money and I spent a lot of time with you" (The lady spent only 20 minutes consulting with my mom and as stated previous, my mom spent $200). She was incredible disrespectful to my mother and treated her to some of the WORST customer service she has ever received! She got her ruined art and money back, but wasn't able to give them as gifts like she had hoped. I believe they used pre-sized, store-bought frames. It is the only rational reason as to why they would crop the caption out of one and frame the other off center. I hope this store goes out of business because they deserve to. In this economy especially, they should know better than to treat any paying customer with such disrespect!

Excellent service and framing. I went to Portland Picture Frame for the first time a few weeks ago. The service was friendly and very helpful (I had many questions, having not framed many pieces of art before). They helped me find the perfect frame for my print and the turnaround time was fast. I love the final result and will definitely pass their info along to friends.

I also love that they are easy to find (at the intersection of two major streets) and have a parking lot - I hate looking for parking.
