How can anyone give this place more than 1 star, or even 1 star at all? I tried it a year ago and was not impressed. It was bland, boring and I didn't even eat half. I went again today because I heard they changed the menu. Yeah, it was still HORRIBLE. They say their chicken is made with all these spices, yet to me it tasted like it was boiled and shredded...without ANY spices, or even salt. It tasted like nothing. And it took them over 20 minutes to even make it! Were they out back slaughtering chickens or what? Disgusting...I threw it out and went and ate somewhere else. I would rather eat Taco Bell any day of the week. There just doesn't seem to be very many truly authentic Mexican food in Oregon. I liked El Palmero on 3rd and Alder, but I saw they changed ownership and now I am worried it wont be as good! Anyway, I wouldn't eat Baja if I was homeless and starving and it was free. DISGUSTING!

Pros: gross, gross, gross

Cons: NONE

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

Mark and crew at Baja Grill have catered for us for large corporate events (150 people) and the compliments from employees and clients have always been outstanding. And their booth at the Bravo shows is usually packed with people saying "ooh", "mmm good" and "aah, yummy!" The setup, the serving and the FOOD have always been the best and we hope to hire them again in the future. (When, oh when, can we have another party?!) And don't forget to get their traveling Margarita Bar!!
