The Best Lasagna EVER!. I discovered Geraldi's in April 2011. The owner, Joanie, is the sweetest hostess. I have eaten their Italian Beef & Meatball sandwiches. Very good. But the most incredible item on their menu is the Lasagna. OMG!! I have dined all over the world and this homemade dish is the best lasagna ever. I recommend getting several orders to go and take them home. Freeze for later...if you have the will power to not devour them immediately. Absolutely delicious with Joanie's garlic bread & extra sauce. It all freezes for a fabulous dinner with friends. Yum! I am hungry right now thinking about it. This is not to be missed.

Conventionally Excellent Lasagna. I visit Geraldi's on a weekly basis, and I love their lasagna. Amid Portland's constant food grandeur and experimentation, it is exciting to me to know that I have at least ONE place in town where I can go to get a large portion of simple, consistently delicious lasagna. There is plenty of cheese and sauce, and you are served an entire loaf of crispy, baked garlic bread to boot. The staff, including the proprietor, go out of their way to create a friendly, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Great Lasagna!. Can't agree with the earlier review dissing the lasagna. It's one of my favorite things about Geraldi's. That and the Torpedo. And of course the service. Oh, and the garlic bread! So good! No microwave can toast bread like that! Highly recommended.

Love the Lasagna!!. I love their lasagna! I order it every time I eat there. Great flavor, lots of mozzarella! Warm, friendly atmosphere, and quick service. Large servings for a great price.

Worst lasagna ever!. I see from the other review's I should have ordered a sub. The lasagna is nothing but 5 layers of pasta with a tad of sauce in between and less than a tad of plain ricotta, NO MOZZARELLA. Sauce tasted a lot like Spaghettio's. Microwaved garlic bread.

Damn Good Sandwiches. Gotta love the Chicken Parm Sub, the Chicago Beef, and the Geraldi Torpedo.

This place is for serious east coast style sub lovers, no posers allowed.

Best Italian Sandwich Shop in Portland.. Thankfully, with the death of the owner his wife is willing to continue with the business. The sandwiches are all great and a large for the money.. Top quality.

If you've tried the Geraldi's in suburban locations and weren't happy, please don't pass this establishment by based on those experiences. The sandwiches are of the highest quality as are the hot plates.

Good Eats. Tasty grub, but the prices seem to be getting a bit to high for the fare. $7.45 for a half sub (6") seems a bit steep. I'll still go and visit every so often, just not as much as I used to. Still great eats and service though!

THE BEST SUB ANYWHERE. Well, I just have a few words to describe Geraldi's. The Best Subs Heros around Portland. You can't find the same kind of heros anywhere around Portland, not even at the other Geraldi's (Beaverton or Flanders) I 'm a busy person but i don't mind to deal with the traffic to be able to go to get a hero at Geraldi's on 4th. I work on SE Portland just about 15 miles from downtown, and is just plain simple, there is no other sub shop that makes you wanna come back to get one more during the week, I have taken other friends and co-workers with me to Geraldi's and We all say the same, their subs are AWESOME. to make you want to return many times a week no matter how long it takes to get there and to go back to to the SE side. We enjoy the owners conversation too. Thank you for the great food.
