Kell's is a great place to go to just start talking to random people. I've never eaten here, only drank, but I'm told the food is pretty good. You walk in and don't feel much like anything but drinkin' anyhow. Very comfy. Slightly understaffed tho.

CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!! They re-ran a. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!

They re-ran a voided charge 2 weeks after they voided it. Manager said it was a credit card batch error. They supposedly do not keep the credit card numbers yet were able to rerun the charges for St. Patricks weekend.

Great Service on a Sunday afternoon. Dropped in mid-September & sat on the "paddy-o". Friendly greeting & great service from waitress "M"(Emilia).

the service sucks. We went there today, July 4th, for lunch because we had a 2 for 1 coupon. The waitress forgot my wife's coffee and we finally had to ask another waitress for it. Our regular waitress didn't even say that she was sorry. After our food came, she didn't even check on us to see if everything was ok. We won't go back there again, even with a coupon.

The bartender Brooks was awesome!!!. went to have some lunch at Kells it was my first time there and had family from out of town. I am a hard core coffee drinker and our waiter was extremely busy...I approached the bartender and made a few simple requests and was assisted promptly!! the food was good! And the bartender was attentive and professional!!! thanks to you Brooks!!! Your customer service was appreciated!!!

Needs a customer service overhaul. This was our second time dining at Kells, but had a very similar experience. The place itself is really nice and the food is good, but the service is severely lacking. The waitstaff behave as if the customer is an inconvenience to them. This occurred on a not-so-busy Saturday afternoon so it was inexcusable. They took forever to bring our drinks and were quite rude. We were asked by 3 different people if we needed another drink, yet the drinks never managed to come. Then when our waiter brought the bill, he just dropped it off without even a thank you. There are lots of excellent dining places in Portland, so I will be taking my money elsewhere.

Great St. Patty's Day Fun. Stopped in last night (for obvious reasons: The Irish Festival in PDX) and had a wonderful time.

Great food. Great beer selection. I'm a huge fan of black and tans (or black and ciders). Although it was crowded, the staff seemed to keep their cool, which is always a plus for me! Can't wait to stop back in when its less crowded.
