So far Thai Pepper Tree is our favorite place to have Thai in Portland (we've tried 3 other places). It is a smallish family run restaurant and the staff are always so friendly and ready to please. The food has always been excellent. Since we like our Thai to be very spicy, they are always able to accommodate. It's not a fancy place, but its cozy. One reviewer below mentioned having to wait a really long time for a table and then recieving bad service; in our 6 times we have never had to wait more than 1 min. Our experiences have all been positive.

We had dinner at this great Thai restaurant last night. Everything was fantastic! the service was excellent. The waiter was helpful and very friendly and recommended some wonderful entrees. We had the cashew nut chicken and the green curry. They were excellent. The thai spring rolls were very flavorful. We topped it off with some of the chef's delicious homemade coconut ice cream. What a wonderful evening. This has become our favorite Thai restaurant. We live in Beaverton, but the great food here is worth the extra drive downtown. You will also keep coming back.
Pros: Easy parking, Excellent Value, Nice Window view
