Got beat up here by the bouncers! Totally unprovoked.. These men totally manhandled my friend for no reason! All I did was say hey careful with her, she was petite so the huge bouncer grabbed me from behind, once I got out of that hold and just wanted to leave, wasn't trying to attack anyone, he then grabbed me in a choke hold (yes, hand to throat I have pictures of the bruises on my neck).

He pushed me down to the ground and kicked not only me but my purse (my phone flew out and I never saw it again)

It was horrible. I am a woman! I did not do anything that deserved that. The owner (after several messages being left) never called me back. I really used to like that place and I still can't believe they put their hands on me unprovoked. No verbal warning to leave (well I was on my way out the door anyways). Just horrible.…

Great experience everytime!. Wonderful staff, everyone is always welcoming and very appreciative that you are there. Some of the best bands from all over play here with a very personable feel! You can stand and enjoy the entertainment or mosey on over to the other side of the bar and sit down and visit with friends. Sinferno is the place to be on Sundays in Portland no where else can even compare. There's magicians, go-go dancers in between acts on the front stage and every week is something new and exciting! :) I would definitely recommend this bar to anyone and everyone!…

We Try Hard To Make People Happy. I work here and the whole staff tries very hard to make everyone happy (unfortunately it never works out that way when there is liquor involved). The two previous reviews are way out of line from two girls that were very, very dunk, and treated with the utmost respect possible.
