We love this place and can't wait for it to re-open, If you had a bad experience there I would urge you give this place another try ( when it re-opens ). If it is open I hope someone will let me know. This is one of the best places to go in Portland and I AM a critic, believe me. Try thier lobtster tail appetizer, yum yum, and killer bread too.

I have been to this restaurant several times. On dates and for anniversaries. I have never had a bad experience. I have always called ahead and made reservations at least two days in advanced and have always received prompt and curteous service. The food has always been excellent and the atmosphere and attitudes have always been wonderful. Maybe at the time they went it was under different management. I don't know. But, I can tell you that myself and my dates have always had a great time there.

As a long time customer, we were shocked recently with the decline of service and general caring by the staff. The food was slow and bland, the server more concerned about talking to the other servers, and the lack of smiles in the whole place made us wonrder if something has happened to the management. Or more liklely, the servers think they run the place....
