Intimate but lively, Saucebox reminds me of Miso Izakaya from ATL and features awesome sushi.

Sleek, sexy and saucy. A "kickboxer" and the reverse caterpillar roll tide this girl over until it's time for round two. Weekends a DJ spins house music, no dancing but a great place to mingle with a trendy crowd.
Brussel Sprouts=Unbelievably Good. I have never been a brussel sprout fan but come on! The brussel sprouts in dashi broth rocked my world. I am addicted. I hope they never take it off the menu. I'm in love with it.
one star. i had less than quality food and service at saucebox. they have done better in the past, i hope that things are on the upswing there.
Please contact me at your convenience. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us as we strive to do our best. I would love to talk with you about your experience at Saucebox. I sure do apologize that it was disappointing.

Great happy hour. Came for happy hour and it was packed! We sat upstairs and thc service was a little slow. However the cocktail of the night was amazing. Prices were good too. Will be going back:)
Thanks for the feedback! I am sorry to hear the service was slow. We take these reviews to heart as we strive to give our best. We'll do better! Saucebox is changing in a big delicious new way. We are now welcoming an innovative, highly experienced and talented Chef, Jason Neroni. Hope to see you again soon.

Better than I Expected. I was expecting a rowdy loud experience, but took the option to eat in their dining room and was surprised to have such a quiet, peaceful dinner. After dinner we had a cocktail in the bar. A DJ came on and we enjoyed the show. The crowd was entertaining. Not quite a five star review but not that far from it. Definitely a nice night out.
Loving It!. Great Vibe. I love the happy hour. You have to try the asian chicken wings. I go to this place after work at least once a week. It is inexpensive and delicious. What more could a girl want?
Blah.... sure the happy hour CAN be decent but even the H.H. food quality can be spotty and dinner is a complete write off. Saucebox started off being about fun and great cocktails then the food stepped up and it was a great place to spend a few hours eating, drinking and quality music and people watching...now...not so much.
I am so sorry to hear that your experience at Saucebox was far from excellent. Thank you for the feedback as we do take these reviews to heart. We are now welcoming a experienced, innovative and talented new Chef, Jason Neroni, who will be taking Saucebox in a big delicious direction. I hope you will give us another try.
Again, thank you.

Dinner and VJ?. I know it sounds funny, but we went here for dinner and as we were leaving we decided to stay because they had a VJ! I know, sounds so 90's but it was a lot of fun to sit and watch old music videos and have another drink after dinner. Dinner was good. Service was good. The atmosphere rocked!
So, so impressed with the Happy Hour.
Been to Saucebox a number of times, but always late night . Love the atmosphere, but drinks can be pricey for my usually low brow range. Finally able to catch their Happy Hour before a show, and I was so impressed.
Well priced drinks ($3 Sapporo), and a fantastic food selection, $4 (!) each for a fantastic Miyako Burger and Pork Spring rolls.
The Khao Soi was meh, but everything else made up for it.
The service was prompt and friendly. The place was full, but the atmosphere was calm and we got our food in about 10 minutes. We came downtown for a show and I expected to be rushed. But the staff was so efficient and friendly, we had enough time to relax and enjoy a well-made Sazerac.
Great experience. Will be back soon.
Java Salmon. My friend has been talking about this place for years and I finally tried it. My salmon dish was great. The ambiance dark and inviting. They were out of my favorite scotch but had a great selection otherwise. All and all, a nice night. I'd recommend.
Salty Entrees... and Very Disappointing. I went to this place 3-4yrs ago and it was so disappointing that I wrote them off. Recently, my friends wanted to try this place and since I was the only one who's been there before, I agreed. Well, I can now say all 5 friends I went there with wrote this place off as well. It was Saturday evening/night, but the place was barely busy (hello, a red flag...), yet it took forever for our appetizers to come, took even more for our entrees to come, but the desert took "only" 15min. Sigh. All the entrees (halibut, salmon and pork shank) came out really salty that we really didn't taste anything but salt.
