We discovered Watchworks last year when I was in the market for a fine automatic Swiss watch. Sales and after sales service have been excellent. From my experience, Alex stands behind his products and truly wants to make his customers happy. Whether for jewelry or another watch, we will start here.

Great service. I have been coming here for years to repair family heirloom watches and regular watches. On the last visit, Alex pointed out that the watch had four batteries and advised me of the cost prior to the repair.

Honest service, I will continue to come here and also plan for future purchases.

THESE GUYS SEEM LIKE CON ARTISTS TO ME. I brought in a vintage Benrus "Three Star" 25J selfwinder that had been working flawlessly for 6 months. I had them replace the crystal, which was cracked, and the crown, which was missing when I bought the watch. I declined their $200-some-odd dollar cleaning and service, since the watch had kept perfect time without missing a beat for almost half a year. When I went to pick it up, they told me that there was no warranty on their work.

When I got home (160 miles away) I realized that the crown DID NOT FIT RIGHT, and wobbles even when closed, which leads me to believe that they did not use the correct replacement. To add insult to injury, my Benrus' sweep second hand now stops on the 16-sec. tick every minute, constantly losing time.

I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE WORK THEY DID. I FEEL CHEATED AND RIPPED OFF.

I HOPE EVERYONE OUT THERE WILL TAKE CAUTION WHEN DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY EXPECT ME TO COME BACK AND SHELL OUT MORE $$$ TO FIX A PROBLEM THEY CAUSED?? FAT CHANCE.

Not Just for Watches!. I originally went in to Watchworks to get a birthday gift for my husband (he has always wanted a Hamilton) and discovered that they also had a custom jeweler! I had some old, out of date items I had inherited but I didn't know what to do with them. Carter walked me through the design process and then turned out the most perfect earrings for me. If you want something unique without spending a ton of money, I highly recommend taking what you already have and brining it to Watchoworks. You will be thrilled with the results!

Best fine watch store in PDX!. I have been a customer for 15 years and always had great customer service and been treated fairly. I have bought many fine watches from Watchworks and their prices are very fair for the high quality watches they sell. I just had my watch serviced and the work was done perfectly.

I would recommend them to anyone looking for jewelry or watches in Portland.
