I went to Dr. Hohf for almost a year and was never really happy with him but finding a new doctor was such a hassle I stuck with him for awhile. I had fight with him and demand that he do simple things like a cholesterol test, do a full physical when I told him I hadn't had one in a very long time. He didn't want to do either because I was 21 at the time, even though I have a history of high cholesterol in my family and had a grandfather die of a heart attack. (All of this was in my chart). Dr Hohf typically would spend less then 10mins with a me, if I actually asked him questions about his diagnoses or the medicine he prescribed me he would get obviously impatient. I would say over 1/2 the time I was more up to date with current illnesses/symptoms etc then he was just from paying attention to the news and surfing the net. (He even had to go look stuff up a few times after I told him about it). However, even with all of the above; the worst part is that he obviously doesn't bother looking at patients charts to see what you are allergic to when prescribing medication. Dr Hohf once prescribed me some medication that I ended up having a severe allergic reaction to. After I dosed myself with 3 antihistamines and went to the ER, I called the clinic and talked to a nurse to tell them what happened. It turns out that that medicine was already listed in my allergies at the top of my chart very big very bold letters! Needless to say, I highly recommend not seeing this doctor and don't understand why he has such a high rating.
Pros: Office staff is great, good location in downtown, the nurses were amazing
Cons: Just the doctor himself in every way.
