Ugh... worst haircut possible!. I had the worst experience at BeauMonde. I had come in for a haircut & style. It was my first time there. I thought the salon was dirty. The girl that was to do my hair seemed highly disinterested in her job and it was disappointing. I've never had someone so incapable of WASHING hair! She kept splashing water in my eyes, and it felt she hardly rubbed the shampoo into my hair. Very disappointing. I was ready to tell her I'd wash it myself. I asked her how long until she graduated.. She said a couple of months! I couldn't believe she was this inept, but would be graduating soon. So, on to the cut. I have longer hair in layers and just wanted a trim to shape it up. She was good at keeping my lengths, but went crazy with the thinning shears, making it look extremely choppy. Someone in "charge" I guess came over and started working on my hair too, probably to try to "fix" the mess. Long story short, what would've been a relatively simple cut, was a chopped up mess. I didn't realize it as much until I got home and really started looking at it. Wow, this girl is going to be working somewhere in a salon cutting hair?? Lord help her. A few weeks later I went to a very well respected salon and the stylists there could not believe what had been done to my hair. We all got a laugh out of it. She said it looked like a had a "bob" on top of long hair. I ended up having to have my hair cut off to above my shoulders. It clearly looks much better now. I will never go back to BeauMonde and would never suggest it to anyone, unless they want a crappy haircut.
Best hair color in town. I had a fabulous weave and it only cost $49.00. I have paid $150 in a salon and didn't like it as much. The teachers were great and the students were very professional. I thought i was in a high end salon because it was spotless.
worst school in portland and lies. this school lies and says things just to get you to join their school-they have a incompetant staff and a dirty place

not worth it.
the student stylist i had couldn't cut my bangs straight and kept asking me if it looked straight. teachers: teach your students how to display confidence!
i also witnessed the cashier making a rude comment about one of the clients. unprofessional.
