Great for crab, lobster & that's about it..
I heard great things about this place - it supply's a lot of the restaurants, has deals with fisherman at the coast....etc.
So I was utterly disappointed when I went. The place is like a small market in size (think a small 7-11). Roughly 2/3 of the store is "fish". There's about 6 tanks, but when I was there 5 of these were filled with crab or lobster with 1 for tilapia.
There was a tiny ice display which had about 6 other fish on it (that's fish total, not species!)
HUGELY disappointing - only gets 2 stars if you want crab/lobster.…
Best in town!. Walk in to see massive tanks of shrimp, crabs, live fish, mussels, clams....and the prices are rocking. I could not find fresh halibut or salmon, but plenty of tilapia, cod (both live in tanks) and striped bass (whole fish on ice) plus others I didn't recognize. Went out comparing seafood stores along Powell, this was easily the best. IF you want it fresh, this is the place.…
