SERIOUS JUGGLING OWNED BY PSYCOTIC
LADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
me and my boy (16) made the drive to buy some juggling merchandise.I took one step into the store and suddenly
the owner (the lady)TOTALLY UNPROVICATED
BEGAN HURLING PROFANITYS AT US.
Then she ordered us to leave and THREATENED TO CALL THE COPS.once again TOTALY UNPROVACATED
SHE RAN RIGHT UP TOO MY FACE AND ORDERED
US OUT OF HER STORE.
I feared she was gunna hit me with her fist wich she was
using in a threatening manner!!
Spread the word people
THE OWNER OF
"SERIOUS JUGGLING ON 2635 NE BROADWAY"
IS VIOLENT AND SHOULD BE INSTITUTIONALIZED!!!!
This is the Gods honest truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WORST EXPERIENCE YOU CAN IMAGINE!!!
AVOID THIS STORE. I ordered a seat for my unicycle. I called and pestered BEN for a month and still not seat. The worst part is need to give him your credit card number. So, now he has my card number and does not call or email me back. I finally cancelled the card for safety.
Serious Juggling? How about Serious Clowns!!
Avoid this company!!!
Worst store business. Online/phone
orders fulfilled only after a month and with multiple phone calls. The recommended product, breaks within first week, and after another call this appears to be a known issue. (With recommended product???)
Replacements parts taking another month to month to arrive and I still haven't seen them. Getting ready to file a credit card dispute, rather than giving them another pointless phone call.
These guys maybe a good jugglers, but they can't and shouldn't sell anything!
Worst customer service EVER! Something must have happened recently because the good reviews for this place are older. The most current review (2012) is bad, as is mine. New management, maybe? Not sure, but this lady was SO rude. We ordered over a week ago and still haven't gotten it (we just live in No. Cal). Our first order "never went through"... did anyone call us to tell us...??? NO! We got tired of waiting and called them. Then they told us the order never went through. Unless you want to dish out money for rude service and no product, go somewhere else!!!!
in short this is a TERRIBLE.
in short this is a TERRIBLE business.
The first time I visited the store it was a complete mess, excusable considering they made it known they had just moved to the new location. The owners were not really helpful and I wasn't too impressed with what they were selling. I was hoping that they would have poi parts or other manipulation toys on par with what I usually purchase online. Unfortunately they had nothing less of cheap shoddy crap at inflated prices. The owners had NO idea what they were talking about when I asked them questions about the products they were selling.
I decided to give it a second go a few months later, yet it was a complete waste of time. The shop was still an unorganized mess. The only difference this time around was how outlandishly ruder the owners were. Not only did they not know their own products but they knew nothing about the market they were selling to, and once again were EXTREMELY RUDE.
They products they sell are cheap and DANGEROUS. Many of the interments at their store, specifically fire toys, will break easily and are unsafe for use.
Feeding the Dream. My son just started riding a Unicycle about a month before his birthday. I don't know much about unicycles. We purchased an old unicycle for him to learn on from a friend who had one in a closet taking up space. The seat it came with it was basically a whole roll of duct tape wound around tube socks. Despite this hindrance and the seat being to tall, my young son learned to freemount, ride and didn't give up. So for his birthday he asked for a new seat. I went online and ordered from his wishlist at Serious Juggling. I ordered and then after the fact opened a live chat line for a question. Not only did I get full attention, I received advice, a suggestion, rides we could join, a phone call, and a special trip to the post office so I could have the order as soon as possible. The order arrived with seat and post custom fit, assembled, and in great condition in the next mornings mail. I live about an hour from the shop, so I know not everyone can get an order that fast, but I also suspect it meant a special trip to the post office to get it here. If I could post the audio of my sons sequels of delight when it arrived, I would. My son is in the front yard riding away right now. Ben was patient and of the utmost help. He went out of his way to feed this dream for my son. I will be doing business here again as we upgrade this starter unicycle. It was a pleasure doing business here, and supporting our local business climate. This was a 'Customer Service' model of what all business should strive for.
6 weeks to ship a helmet - then charged a restocking fee!!. I ordered a bike helmet from Serious Juggling on 2/22/11. I received no email confirmation but instead a phone call indicating that Ben would need to go to the distributor "within the next couple of days" to pick up the helmet. I waited patiently for the product but after several weeks started calling around to companies in the area to determine who held my order. Since I received no confirmation, no email, or no communication I had no identification on who the order was placed with. I just received a shipping confirmation for the helmet yesterday - 4/5/11 - nearly 6 weeks after the initial order! I requested this be immediately canceled and explained the issues that had occurred - delay in shipping, no correspondence, and a lack of notification in status. Instead of being apologetic, Ben indicated that I'd be charged an 8% "restocking fee" even though the product was never shipped! I would avoid ordering any products from this company - a 6 week lag in shipment with no contact is unacceptable.
Co-owner (i.e. the wife) was very rude.. My family has purchased several unicycles from Serious Juggling in the past, and the husband co-owner has always been nice, but the wife has always seemed somewhat harsh. But today my family came in to buy a forth unicycle and the wife/co-owner was VERY rude. So much so that my family and I had to leave (including my 4 and 10 year olds). This is not how to run a buisness.
My first time is also my last time. My roommate is a new juggler, and she has visited this shop more then once, buying lots of items each time. Today, we made a trip there. The store is on the small side and there we're a few people right inside the door way. My roommate at this point went in alone bcause she knew what to get. She was then semi rudely ask to leave the store and wait for the customers to leave, she did so without question. A few minutes later a customer left and even before we had a chance to see if the coast was clear, the employee stormed out in a rage to being yelling at us! In the end she told us she would close the store so we couldn't shop there! I have never witnessed such bad customer service in all my life. Look online for what you need before you even attempt serious juggling!
A Serious Review for Serious Juggling. I have been shopping at Serious Juggling since before there was a storefront, and I have always received prompt service, and expert advice. Friendly, helpful, available (phone, storefront, website, online chat) - all this, and local, too. This business is the textbook definition of "doing it right". I look forward to my next prop purchase at Serious Juggling.
