straight Pimpin at McMenamin's. Scoring Big @ McMenamin's with Tony T-Money and the Crew: This rocking place kept T-Money and the Wrecking Crew kicking it like Tai-Bo all night long. T was kind enuff to leave his credit card and pick up the tab for all the sweet honeys! We thought we lost him in the cleavage of Miss California but he survived, yelled "cut me Mick!" and went in for the TKO! Gino was ready to front the bail money, but T-Money was all good. Fortunately you can buy enough beer to please a posse at McMenamin's without making a dent in the company pocketbook. Sully found the wings and the beer slide in and out just as easily - and the chicks too! Sweet lady LuLu kept it real while Bookie and his soon to be life-time sweetie Carny chugged some cheap ones. As for Mr. Pimpdiggity - well, if you want to know the rest, buy the rights!

Does good beer make up for Bad service?. Okay, I understand they have FABULOUS beer, but what is up with the AWFUL service? No matter which Mcmenamins I go to, I have to wait forever, get treated like a burden, and it ruins my dinner! Is it a requirement to be a horrible server in order to work for Mike Mcmenamin? Yeah, Mike! I am calling you out! Go into your own restaurant sometime, and see what the service is like! Good burgers and beer can only make up for so much! In all seriousness though, the pathetic service has made me choose elswhere to dine and drink, and I find that others are doing it as well. Too bad, because the beer is really good. I guess I will go to The Lucky Lab instead.....

No Complaints. They have good food, good service and good beer. Those are the simple ingredients that a lot of places I have been to seem to miss out on. I like the touches too, such as an affordable pool table and wood burner in the middle of the pub - great in winter.

Fries - Best? Not even. Okay, you get LOTS of fries for an extra buck, but they are so greasy it is a shame. Change the oil in the fry bin or turn up the heat. If these things were fully cooked and crisp, they'd be a delight. As it is, they are just a mass of overly greasy fries.

Love the beer. The food has never been their focus, but it ain't bad.

BOYCOTT MCMENAMINS!. Make Mcmenamin's wake up. How can these "pubs and breweries" be number one? The food is horrible, ordering a beer is like asking a favor of the bar tender, and the beer... well, I won't go there. To make matters worse, they have no respect for the customers.

The Crystal Ballroom has kept mothers and 8 year old kids outside in the cold for over 2 hours when they failed to open the doors to the Ben Folds Live concert. (resulting in an angry mob of soccor moms) After that fateful night, I swore, that I would never enter another Mcmenamin's again. I have also spread the word.

Portland! Do not settle for something because it's familiar! Just because you know that they will have "hummus" doesn't make it good! Just because they renovate an old building does not make them good neighbors! BOYCOTT!

If you like overcooked. Their fries are really overcooked and dry. I have to put a lot of ketsup on the fries to make them taste good. They have improved over the years though, so maybe they will get better. I guess if you drink a lot of beer at Mcmenamins the dry fries may compliment the beer

Disagree. They used to be very good.....now very poor. Last four times I've eaten there......fries cold, almost rubbery.

Mmm Greasy..... OK so their fries are a little greasy...That doesnt mean they are bad. It just makes them better! They are some of the best fries I've ever gotten.

AWESOME PLACE TO EAT. McMenamins has many place that you can visit, each with their own special food items and some with special entertainment attractions, such as a movie theater with couches. The food is excellent, the servers are friendly, I would defintely reccomend McMenamins to anyone and everybody.
