Editorial Review for Camellia Lounge – by Bevyn Rowland
In Short
Health-conscious tea enthusiasts and savvy nightlife mavens converge at this haven of the leaf. Daylight hours bring post-yoga class pals; evenings draw a whole different kind of posturing in the lounge. Cocktails like the Dirty Harry and Yunnan Toddy are designed to heal the liver, while the Ross Island Iced Tea and Mate mojito blend refreshing flavors. Bar bites are equally unique and yummy, such as the meltingly delish Dragon Chips adored for their cheesy gooey goodness.

Went here on Sat 11th Aug to listen to Paul Warren play there in the evening, was very impressed. There is an extensive cocktail list & the food was good too (I had a veggie pannini). Its chilled out inside, the barman was cool & friendly and the entertainment was great! What more could you want!
Pros: Great Entertainment, Extensive Cocktail List, Good Atmosphere

After going here for a while and only trying the bubble teas I decided to branch out and try a smoothie. I was mildly hesitant since sometimes the bubble teas are watery. The service is really mediocre/inconsistent and I’ve never really felt welcomed there. I shouldn’t have been surprised but the peach smoothie I ordered was fluorescent orange and undeniably canned peaches. I took a few sips and had to toss it. It was a huge disappointment considering it’s summer and Oregon peaches have a great reputation. I just don’t think I can keep going back there anymore.
Pros: decent bubble tea smoothies
Cons: high prices for poor quality
