Overall....We're happily satisfied..
We are now settled, or almost settled-into our new home here near Kingston. We often get down to Portland on weekend trips and that's how we found your business and your helpful staff. We had heard about the Amtico product and that you had that line with samples to view. We ended up with a slate look in the mudroom and hallway, a cherry wood look in the tv room and a tile look in the guest bath. We're very pleased with all of them. Thanks for all the help from your end.
Sincerely,
L & D Lynch
Installer's personal problems were excuse for poorly done job, project manager flakey. We were very disappointed with the installation of marmoleum floor in our kitchen. The flooring bubbled in several spots, seams oozed glue and the project manager told me to press it down with heavy books to remedy it. That didn't work. I was way too nice about this. The edging the installer put on the stairs did not reach low enough to conceal the raw edges on the risers, one of the supervisors had to come over and replace them with wider ones. I was told the installer was in a slump because of a divorce. That was their excuse for the poor job he did. Maybe we weren't the only dissatisfied customers. When I noticed several nails were missing on the edging the project manager told me to come over to the store and he would leave a bag of nails at the counter for me to pick up. Well, he forgot to do it and left for the day. When I got to the store the receptionist refused to have someone get the nails out for me and treated me like a lunatic. The installer also split the wood on oneof the door frames during the job. The quality of work was poor, the customer service was worse. I will NEVER go there again.
Job well done!!. My husband and I just completed the remodel for our home and it was a great experience. Floor Factors was with us every step of the way from carpet to hardwoods and even ceramic tile. The installers were the best we used through out the intire project. Thanks to Floor Factors the remodel was finished on time and were extremly happy with the out come!!!
Great for carpet but beware for tile.... They took forever on my bathrooms making my remodel project late, and then did an average at best job despite all the time it took. Customer service related to this unsatisfactory experience was quite lame. There are better tile contractors out there who are faster. I would know because we had one of the showers redone again - less than half the time and twice the quality.
