Always the best!. Hey, I've shopped at French Quarter for years and don't understand the last posting. I think FQ is one of the most dependable stores in town and I've never had an issue with service. In fact, I think the sales staff is way above average. I'll admit that prices are high, but it's also very high-end product they sell. So, like clothes and cars, there's a reason for higher prices. When you get a chance, check out the store, because it's beautiful. Overall, I think this is an excellent establishment.…
French Quarter. I can't figure out why this store is still in business. The staff is so rude. Do people like to be treated rude when they buy luxury linens. I don't. They are rude and they don't know what they are talking about. The one time I ordered something, because they have nothing in stock, they lied about when it was going to come. I called the vendor and they said they had it in stock so what did they do with my money? Don't shop there, I don't get it, there is so much better in town.…
Grizzly BEWARE !.
As a purveyor and afficionado of fine linen here in the Southwest, I have to address this situation. Sheets are like shoes, no matter the quality, if they are not properly cared for and rotated -
they wear out quickly. Think about it, would you expect a pair of Prada heels to last a lifetime if you wore them every single day and never conditioned them? And just as extreme elements and poor hygiene will trash a shoe quicker than you can say "splenda", the same is true for your sheets. The #1 cause of holes in sheets are unsightly, poorly groomed feet. (this is usually the husband - though I've seen a few exceptions, neither here nor there) Those scratch, nappy heels dig and abrate right through even the finest textile. Also hate to break it to you, but hairy backs / aggressive facial hair, etc. do the exact same thing. So if you want to enjoy the quality of fine linen, take time and excersise proper care please....
PS a front loader washer makes a world of difference, and ease up on the chemicals and heat!…
Where to buy linens so luxurious they'll make you reach for the snooze bar..
The Scene
Most people spend about a third of their lives in bed and French Quarter believes in making the most of every minute of that glorious time. It's true--spending a night on
600-thread count sheets or drying your face with an incredibly soft Egyptian cotton towel are some of life's greatest pleasures. If you've got the budget, consider the indulgent option of custom-made linens. Choose your fabric and dimensions and French Quarter will do the rest.…
This store is so beautiful.
French Quarter is a visual feast; one of the most beautiful retail spaces I have encountered, & I shop all over the world.
The offerings are lovely, world class & quite expensive. Despite the cost, I have been very happy with my choices, I heve been carefully guided by the knowledgeable, handsome & helpful staff.
This is a favorite stop when shopwing out-of-town guests the Pearl district.…
