In Short – The decor includes a long wood bar and a booth-filled dining area bathed in orange light. Abstract shapes, rope, wood and corrugated metal create an urban industrial-tiki hybrid. Mingling 30-somethings dominate the scene. In summer, there's prime people-watching at sidewalk tables. Cocktails include offbeat ingredients like tea and sake. An international selection of wines is available by the glass or bottle. The menu ranges from chicken wings to mushroom ragout.
Muu Effing Muu

My psychotic date paid the tab before left me there after a verbal lashing, he left a bad tip. Baffled, I was texting my little brother to come get me, the waitress comes up and tells me about said tip.
I apologized and agreed with her that he was clearly a d bag, I offered her any cash that I had and she refused, as i'm leaving she yells "why don't you just leave!"....which was what I was already doing....
So i'm outside on the phone with my brother and she comes out to continue her rant. I again apologize but I reminded her that I was outside, leaving her the alone, and that it wasn't my tab to pay or leave a tip. She comes back outside with a camera and gets up in my face with it saying i'm 86'ed. I'm even more confused at this point.
Dear awful waitress at Muu Muu's:
Maybe he gave you an awful tip because you're an awful waitress with an attitude and face to match.
- Pros: Nothing
- Cons: Everything
Great food all hours

Where else can you get fantastic food at 12 am or 12 pm. I heart the brunch, no lines cozy booths and eggs benedict! Great place for sandwich and fries at lunch. The quality of the ingredients is surprising for a bar, and the prices are really resonable for NW.
- Pros: easy going atmosphere, attractive clientele
- Cons: busy on fri-sat
Very consistent bad service.

I've been three times, the first time was the only time my existence was actually acknowledged. My girlfriend and I have swung by Muu-Muu's three times, the first time we went in, sat down and waited for service for about 20 minutes without any contact from a single employee. So we went hunting around for a menu and tried to talk someone into bringing us some drink. After being there for almost 30 minutes we were finally able to engage a waitress who was more interested in chatting with co-workers than serving customers. After a 45 minute wait we finally had drinks and food in front of us. The next two times we went were worse. We sat in our booth for over 20 minutes making eye contact multiple times and eventually waving our arms and asking for menus from our booth. We gave up completely on this place. Maybe there is an unspoken set of rules we don't understand? Some sort of Muu-Muu's etiquette perhaps? Either way, save your time and enjoy one of the other thousand spots in Portland, this place isn't worth the wait or "snubbing" as another reviewer put it.
- Pros: It's warmer inside than it is outside during the winter.
- Cons: you'll have more fun in church.
