Editorial Review for Fratelli – by Rachel Bellacera
In Short
Exuding a rustic, golden glow that warms from the open kitchen, the space is defined by simple stucco walls and candlelit tabletops. Intimately secluded seating draws in curious scenesters and regulars. The menu highlights fresh, local ingredients in hearty, traditional, northern Italian cuisine, such as prosciutto-wrapped chicken with Parmesan polenta, and lasagna with bechamel. Desserts reflect simplicity, including crispy profiteroles served with creamy, house-made basil ice cream pears and chocolate.

Insider Tips
The ExtrasThe extensive Italian wine list is studded with affordable gems starting at $21 a bottle and running up to $150. Ask for recommendations or try the seasonal special.
Know Before You GoUnlike its Pearl compatriots, Fratelli is not the place for cruising. Instead, look to neighbors Oba!, Paragon, Fuel, Holden's and Manzana for snappier aperitif scenes.

While the staff and food were excellent, I would not recommend this place as a "romantic" spot. The tables are too close together and I felt like I was having dinner with the table next to me. If you want to go to a place that has excellent food and service , than this is truly a great place. The whole staff is very friendly and attentive. I also would suggest making reservations at least a couple of days ahead because I was unable to get the time I wanted and had to settle for an earlier time spot. The price was very comparable to most other places. The only problem I have is that I would not consider this place a "Romantic" or "Proposal" spot.
Pros: Ambience, staff, food and all around cleanliness.
Cons: Table are too close together. Parking lot was full

This place looks great, has great food, and very educated and professional stuff...just hope the great ratings won't go straight into their heads, so we can enjoy all the great things they ahve to offer! ;)
