The night was a disaster.

I run a meetup group in the area, and one of our members received free tickets to the show for 16 members of our group. We all showed up 45 minutes early because we knew we needed to go in together to get in free. After waiting in the LONG line in the pouring rain, we were told that our tickets were not available. Naturally we were upset because we'd organized this event and had 16 people waiting in the rain, counting on getting in. The staff was unsympathetic and totally rude and unaccommodating. Our entire group was disgusted. Not one person at Harvey's acted like they cared or offered to do anything for us. We went from person to person only to be smirked at and sent away. One of our members was actually told "I don't want to hear it" by the staff member at the ticket window.
I have no idea if Harvey's is actually fun or not, or if their food is any good. I will not be giving them my business at any point in the future. I think that if you do bad business and have horrible customer service, people should tell everyone they can about it so that eventually it catches up with you.
Stay away from Harvey's!
- Pros: None
- Cons: Horrible Customer Service

We had a good time. The four of us shared a good nacho. Parking was scarce. Mixed drinks were weak.
They need to do something about those tiny bathrooms.
Overall, a good change from the norm.
- Pros: Fun atmosphere, Fat Tire on Tap
- Cons: parking, weak drinks, bathroom
Not bad, but not great either

My husband and I went to Harveys for our anniversary on April 24 since we enjoy stand up just as much as the next guy. After paying for our tickets on-line, we checked in at the door, and was told to see the guy inside, who immediately asked us, "did you pay for your tickets or did you get them free?" We told him we paid for them, and he proceeded to put us in the back of the room. I then, ahem, reminded him we PAID for the tickets, and then he put us not in the 4th or 5th row, but in the very furthest front table, so we were kind of looking UP at the comedians (one extreme to the other). It seemed odd to me since we had indeed PAID for our tickets and other folks who clearly got freebies had better seats than we did, but we couldn't sweat it too much. We were there to have fun after all!
Our waitress was on top of it, getting us beers right away and always checking back with us to see how we were doing. We appreciated that, particularly considering some of the negative reviews listed here. I think some of the folks complaining about the service may have been of the same ilk of the rowdy beer-saturated crowd that no server really wants to go near anyway!
The comedians were eh-eh. Both acts seemed like they were making things up on the fly, like "oh, I do this all the time, so I don't need an act" kind of thing. But really we didn't expect Robin Williams or Ron White, so oh well *SHRUG*. In the end, we had fun, and we do plan to return and check out other talent.
- Pros: Fun atmosphere, good service
- Cons: Comedians OK, no preferential treatment for those who paid!
