The gold standard....... This is a loveliest shopping experience I have had in a long time. We bought a wedding band here, and the salesperson (also the jewelry maker) was one of the more real people I have met (and that is saying a lot in Portland). We received exactly what we were looking for (no sales pitch, no pressure), at a good price, with excellent service. I also noticed they had some very pretty pearl jewelry that I may have to go back for a closer look

Customer service as impressive as the jewelry. I have never written a review for anything before, but had to give this boutique the publicity and word-of-mouth it deserves. After hunting around the city for an unique engagement ring that was worth the money at the usual suspects (Twist, Gilt, Maloy's Jewelry) my fiance and I were lucky enough to pull this shop up on Google search. This place is inviting, well-lit by natural light to complement the honest beauty of the stones, and the employees take the time to educate you and help you find what you are looking for without ANY pressure. I think if we hadn't found a ring we liked and had walked out, they would have sent us out the door as politely as they had welcomed us in. To top it all off, after purchasing the band and diamond separately, the ring was ready a day early. They wanted to get it to my fiance so he could surprise me with it early but my fiance couldn't leave work so they delivered the ring to my fiance at work. I've never heard of any retailer doing such a thing. I hope that more people check out Gold Leaf if they are looking for beautiful jewelry because the experience alone is worth the visit.
