A cornerstone of the Pearl District, this cooperative art gallery has managed to keep its doors open in the increasingly gentrified Portland art world. Around for more than a decade, the Blackfish Gallery has seen the Pearl District transform from funky 'hood to trend-friendly pocket. Over the years, the gallery has offered the public steady shows by artists who seem a shade less concerned with the commercial possibilities of their work.
