Founded in the mid-'70s, Blue Sky is a cooperative--fully run and operated by artists. It is also devoted exclusively to the photographic arts, which have precious few champions in the city. Shows have included the haunting and poetic work of the Irish photographer Paul Seawright--whose photographs of the conflict in Northern Ireland have garnered international recognition--and Catherine Angel's photographs documenting her struggle with cancer.
