Editorial Review. Salon offers professional stylists who offer their expertise in hair cuts, full coloring, highlights and perms.
Greatest Colorist, Lyda. Talk about a hidden treasure. Lyda A. has got to be one of the best colorist the city has to offer. The salon is very small but perfectly appointed. It feels like you have your own salon and she is there to do your hair. In the summer the windows are open and I didnt feel like I had spent a great summer day inside away from the great weather. In the winter it is cozy and warm feeling. Easy acess and plenty of parking!! Right off the freeway. Imagine that in an upscale salon.
WONDERFUL-WITHIT-PROFESSIONAL. both mary and natalie are two of the best hair-dooers in portland! just know that you will receive nothing short of professional yet comfortable service from these fabulous ladies.... its like stepping into a girlfriends living room having a martini and getting beautified! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! *note* i dont think the review posted re: facials/natalie was placed in the correct spot. this natalie doesn't do facials and she's an on-time sorta gal!
Natalie's the best!. Natalie has been styling my hair for almost 10 years now (whoa!), and she always does an amazing job. I just visited her new salon in the Eastbank Commerce Center, and it is fabulous. Same great decor and style that has been her trademark since she was at Aphrodite and Mona Lisa in the Pearl. As for the services, let me just say I am a very indecisive client and I have naturally testy hair. Natalie has always been able to come up with a great cut and color for my wash-and-wear lifestyle. She also gives an amazing neck massage! And her new location is perfect - spend an hour or so chatting with Natalie and Mary (and maybe even Prancer, the cutest dog ever) at Mona Lisa, and then meet up with friends for lunch at ClarkLewis. Hello! Could there be a better afternoon?
Excellent Facials. I was a bit put off when my facialist, Natalie, was late for my appointment (and didn't apologize for it), but the facial I received from her was so excellent, I'll go back again in a heartbeat. Unlike other salons I've been to, she has a genuine consultation with you before she begins the facial, and really tailors the treatment to your needs. It was the most effective facial I've ever received - it not only felt great, but my skin looked noticeably better when I left the salon and still does. Not only is Natalie very experienced, but she uses the highest quality products in town. It was also a bonus to leave with a cute little goody bag full of valuable free samples and a gift certificate.
