Great Salon!. I went in to Urbaca for color, I had Caroline, she put in low lights and highlights and was able to make my skin look like it was glowing! I definitely recommend Urbaca!

WONDERFUL facial!. Just got a facial yesterday with Sherry and it was absolutely wonderful! Her technique is to die for!! I got exactly what I came for... smooth skin, relaxation, and a skin care regimen to maintain. I definitely will be returning! I just wish I found this place sooner... Thanks Sherry & Urbaca! =)

Go see Tonya!!. Tonya at Urbaca is wonderful. I went to her after several bad color jobs and she fixed my color in one process. She also gave me the best cut I've ever had.

"10": URBACA=THE TOTAL PACKAGE. Received Urbaca certificate as volunteer from Planned Parenthood. Had never visited before; its fabulous. Joe, the owner who actually answers phones with care, tact, and professionalism, booked a first (free) appointment for me w/ Tamara&I to consult. I met Tamara: beautiful, capable, and just returned from NYC for the latest, hottest trends. Found out I could donate my long hair to Locks of Love for cancer children's wigs. Next: the haircut. Got an auburn rinse which turned out natural-looking/shiny. I did not recognize myself. Everyone loves it and I get carded all the time now! I found my new boyfriend and have more confidence. This is professionalism, community- consciousness and talent. I recommend Urbaca to everyone.

Kevin is a Superstar with Scissors!. Kevin is the best hairstylist ever! He is amazing with a pair of scissors. I started going to him over 2 years ago when he rescued me from a bad hair cut given to me by another stylist (not someone from Urbaca). I have since referred about 7 people to him and they all LOVE him and continue to use him. If you want to love your hair then go see Kevin.

facials to die for!. I have had facials and waxing done by Sherry, and they are AMAZING. The waxing is the most pain-free I have experienced, and her facials send me to a whole new world! She is extremely easy to get along with and very knowlegable about her services. Every time I walk out of there, I feel like a new person! How refreshing!

Rosemary at Urbaca for COLOR!. Rosemary at Urbaca did an amazing Job on my Hair Color. She took her time, used different colors to create an overall great blond. I went much lighter and she was able to controll the "gold and red tones". The atmosphere is very professional, but still personal and Rosemary is a very nice and stylish hair stylist, which understood what I wanted in my color. I recommend her highly.

Wedding Day Woes. I don't even know where to begin. I'd been going to Tamara for nearly 3 years. Sadly, for my wedding day, she was unable to get me in at a reasonable time (8am for a 4pm event...), even 3 months in advance, so I was scheduled with someone else. Arriving at 12:30, I wish I'd had a photo of what I wanted, but thought "cascading waves" was pretty straight-forward. One hour later, I could tell we weren't headed in the right direction, and although I'm usually easy-going, I thought I'd better speak up. After all, this was my wedding. She finally got another stylist who seemed to know what he was doing. By 3pm, I thought if I at least looked presentable, since no one seemed to know how to create these elusive "cascading waves" (at least no one who was willing to take the time to do it...), I left the salon looking OK, but by the time I'd arrived at my in-laws, where the event was to take place, I took one look in the mirror and saw "Kitty" from "That 70's Show" staring back at me. I broke down crying, washed my hair (which they didn't do, BTW!), and styled it myself. While it wasn't the "cascading waves" I had pined for, it was pretty. nearly 6 months later and I'm still a little bitter. I hate to lose a good hairstylist, but I can't go back. Not only am I terribly disappointed, but now I'm faced with having to find a new stylist. Oh, the horror!

AMAZING SKIN TECHNICIAN!!!. I have had numerous facials and waxes done, but none compare to those performed by Amber at Urbaca. For years I had them done at another spot in The Pearl - but nothing compares. Amber does a near-pain-free job on waxes not to mention her fantastic facials. Her recommendations when asked about skin products have been flawless and have helped tremendously. Highly Recommended!
