Highly recommended. I have not been able to find a stylist for the life of me!! I was referred to At the Salon and am so glad i was!! She took the time to listen to what i wanted and she got it perfect!

It is the best blond i have ever had. She also brought me wine, made me laugh, and also gave me a rockin cut.

I highly recommend this establishment!

Cozy place, professional people. Before I moved to Portland from San Diego, I was attending one and the same stylist for almost 7 years. At the new place, it took me a couple of years to find this place, At the Salon, where I am again feeling myself satisfied in the arms of a professional, Mary, who listens, gives helpful advice and does a perfect job on my hair.

The salon offers a really top-notch level of hair design art and a warm aura. I like seeing people here working and being happy with their work. Five stars, no doubt.

Love my stylist!. Kelsie ROCKS! I am a styling nightmare in the sense that I love looking cool, but hate products, always have my hair stuck in a bike helmet and don't like upkeep. Kelsie always cuts in a way that lets me look cool without effort. My hair looks great out of the salon and then still looks rockin' a month later. Her color is amazing too. This girl is possibly the best stylist I've had. LOVE IT!

Amazing!. I had been growing my hair out for years and I was finally ready to chop it off. At The Salon was just the place I had been looking for. It was small and cozy with a friendly atmosphere. I saw Diane and she was wonderful. I went in wanting a drastic change, but I didn't know exactly what I wanted. Diane was smart and sensible. She did the first step of cutting off the major lenght that I had. She made the cut look great and encouraged me to get used to it while keeping my eye out for details that I would like to add to my look. I am so happy that she broke down this process a little bit for me. It would have been shocking to go from having super long hair to a super short and styled look that I might not be happy with. Diane is great! Plus, there was zero pressure to buy products or try something I might not want.

very cozy and warm. I met Michael when he had just moved to Portland. I got in quick with him since he was still building his clientele and found out he has 14 years experience. He listened to me and helped me pick out a style that works for me. I am very pleased, the salon was nice and the staff seemed happy. I will recommend Michael to anyone. He also cut my boyfriends hair, so men and women are obviously welcome.

Girl meets Salon... Falls in love. At the salon is cozy, friendly, and is chock full of great stylists. I've been going to Mary for years now and don't know what I'll do if she ever leaves me. She knows exactly what colors and products will work for me, but isn't one of those stylists who forces her "artistic vision" on you.

Best Stylists bar none!. I have been going to At The Salon for over a year now. I moved here from Seattle. Where I was getting my hair done before they would always do 2 colors, an all over and then highlights. My hair ended up looking bleached. If I let it grow out it would be gray! Kerin started doing my hair with only an all over and now only has to do touch ups every 5-6 weeks. My hair is healthier than it has ever been and she saves me a ton of money (which my husband likes). The atmosphere is quaint and soothing. It is small so you feel like you are at a friends home while there. Sometimes it is hard to find parking but be patient, it is worth it.

Diane's the Best. I think Diane is the best stylist I've ever had. She's not one of those wrist-flicking, product-pushing dilettantes like you see at some of those uber-metro-concept-all-over-beauty salons. She's real. And she's good. Thanks, Diane, for years of good service.

Awesome cut.... Tim cut my hair -- he's been with the salon for 16 years, and he immediately put me at ease. I felt like he really listened to what I wanted and my hair looks perfect!

My boyfriend recomended Time to me, so he's great for guys, too.
