Attention to detail - Good place for guy's haircut. I'm new to Portland, and have tried many places. Finally found a place where they're not scared to use the buzzers...and they use them correctly. Veronica did a great job, gave attention to detail, did a great standard fade with a zero close low fade in the back. Kudos. And the price is really cheap for a good cut and buzz, just $17. It took over a year, but found the place.

The only person my fiancee will trust to cut his hair. It is like pulling teeth trying to get my future husband to get his haircut. We used to live near this unpretentious barber shop and salon on NW 21st. Even though we moved all the way over to SE, he will still only let Cossette at Rough Cut give him a hair cut. No appointments is a drawback, but it has never been a problem.

NICE. Old barber feel, women are nice, friendly, easy to talk to. I usually hate getting haircuts because they ask stupid questions and are sometimes up tight. These women are awesome, I HIGHLY recommend for college students and GLBT. They also are extreamly helpful for what style'll look best. GREAT GREAT. About $16 for women though. But worth it.
