Friendly Service....
I love these guys. They always smile and say hello when you enter the store. They know their meats and are happy to give cooking
instructions, or help you select the perfect wine for dinner. Their made-to-order sandwiches are top notch, and of course the chicken-on-a-stick is the best in town.
Bravo!

Phil's is the place to get your meat for your next dinner or event... The customer service is #1... Phil and his staff can handle all you
service requests... And their Deli counter is excellent as well... From sandwiches to Bento Boxes... Your lunches don't have to be fastfood...

Don't forget the great seafood!. If the high quality of the meat and service isn't enough, the fresh seafood at Phil's is worthy of patronage. The Ahi steaks are great for searing, the crab is always fresh, the salmon melts in your mouth. In a pinch (when Phil's is closed) I'll go to Whole Foods for these items, but it's a step down. The babyback ribs are also great - ask Phil how to prepare them. You won't be disappointed. View Less … View More
Phil's rules.
Best butcher in town.
Try the beef kababs. Ridiculous.
Big honkn' chicken breasts with red spices on them are delightful.
Fish kababs delicious.
Steaks are awesome.
For the Super Bowl, or sorry, "the Big Game", Phil special ordered us a bunch of huge chicken wings. They were awesome.

Better than a Steakhouse.
There is no better place in Portland to buy your meat.
Phil is an old-fashioned butcher who believes in personal customer service, and who offers his customers the best beef, chicken, pork, and seafood in town. He and his "apprentice" Brandon even provide cooking hints.
As an added bonus, you can also pick up wine, seasonings, sauces, and, if you're really hungry, a box lunch with kabobs and rice.
Parking can be a pain, but the patient driver will reap great culinary rewards.
