Would Never Go Back.
I dined here in September 2005 while visiting Portland from Los Angeles. The restaurant was just down the street from our hotel, so we gave it a shot. The rice was inedible, the "refried" beans tasted like baked beans from a can, and the chile relleno was soggy. The salsa was the only decent food item served. The service wasn't awful, but considering that we were one of two tables in the restaurant, it seemed a little slow.
I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

make the owner get a real job. This place is horrible and has been for years. The food is bland, boring, and ugly. The service with "attitude" is a joke. I'm sorry you even stopped long enough to read this so to make it up to you if your in the neighborhood try the bull ring for a great mexican dinner and then go enjoy some beer and pool at cracker jacks they are both only a couple blocks from here.

Quality is headed downward. My wife and I have been visiting "Acap" for 7 years, but the service and food quality has been declining rapidly since late 2003. On our last visit, the server was rude, forgot items from the order and spilled salsa on me as it was being roughly placed on the table. Note that I'm all for "attitude" but this place crossed the line and I won't be back.

long time customer. I love this place, and have for over 15 years! Wonderful portions, tasty, and always quick! Thank God they rebuilt after the fire!!!

3xs a week.
Thats about how many times a week I go there.
I really enjoy the food and the fact is the portions are large maybe to much.
The service is great in the fact that all the servers have been there awhile and actually get trained.
The reason I know this is I watched a new server one night getting trained.
To many times at places people get thrown to the wolves in restaurants.
If there is any problem and chances are ther will not be the owner will take care of it.
well worth money
