Editorial Review for Serratto – by Kristin Kaye
In Short
Wood-beamed ceilings soar above the refined yet rustic trattoria that offers various mood-matching environ. There's the casual Vineria for a drink and appetizer or the dining room with white-clothed tables and leather armchairs. Fresh ingredients are the trademark of its dishes, such as cauliflower soup with pancetta and truffle oil and crunchy white beans with tuna, red onion, spinach and oregano. House-made pasta like fettuccini comes with prawns, pancetta and fennel in white wine cream sauce.

I had dinner on Saturday night with 5 of my friends. We were seated promptly at 7:00pm and had the most wonderful server. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended a wonderful bottle of wine (we had 2). We ordered the BBQ ribs and calamari for appetizers- and both were great. Everyone loved their dinners- we had the pork, the lamb ravioli, the risotto, the spinach fettuccine and the tagliatelle with wild boar. Everyone finished everything on their plate. We were full, but decided to try dessert as well, and were not disappointed. I would highly recommend Serrato for the food, the ambience and the amazing service!
Pros: Ambience, Food, Service

We went with a group of 6 to Serrato's on a Friday night, and had reservations for 6 at 7:30pm. When we got there, they explained that our table was not free yet (there were still guests having desert at the table) and asked if we would like another table. Since the table that we made reservations for was a nice round table, we said we would wait. They were very apologetic, but we didn't mind waiting- it was quiet enough in the entryway to hear our conversations). Then, the hostess brought all six of us glasses of champagne while we waited. We got our table a little after 8. We ordered the clams as appetizers and they were delicious. They also brought us another appetizer, although I can't remember what it was (they apologized again for the late seating). We ordered the special of the night- paella, which was very good, and did not skimp on the seafood. Other meals that were ordered were the risotto, the pork, and the steak. Every dish was clean. We also ordered some deserts to share, which were also all eaten. The server brought out some desert wine at the same time, again to apologize for the initial wait. Overall, I can't wait to have another excuse to go there. The server and all other staff really knows how to keep customers coming back. Even if they did not bring us all the freebies, we enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff, and all the food. We will definitely be back again for a special occassion.
Pros: Customer Service, Ambience
Cons: So good, you won't want to leave (and thus, even with reservations you might have to wait)
