Multi-floored, full of nooks and decorated with an impressive array of knickknacks, the Cameo is a local treasure. Breakfast is served all day, with good reason. Pancakes, available "by the acre," are worth their weight in flavor and hang off the plate. Egg dishes, from Benedicts with rich hollandaise to omelets with familiar fillings like ham and green peppers, are fluffy and filling.

We had breakfast there once years ago and it was very good. Only problem is the place has been sold and is now closed. We checked it out. Just FYI! Cameo East is still open.

Went to Cameo for breakfast with friends. The portions were big and the food tasty. Only drawback - no parking in immediate area so you either have to find street parking (not easy in this neighborhood) or find a pay lot.

My husband, son and I had breakfast there, and it was wonderful. I'm into healthy foods, my son is into eggs and hash, and my husband is into omelettes. We were all satisfied with our meal, had a great friendly service and they customized my omelette to my liking.
