Great staff, great food

I have been to this restaurant numerous times, and it always has been a great experience. They are very accommodating to large groups or people, and the waitresses are lots of fun, and always make the experience better. The food has always been good and promptly served. Umenoki is great!

• Pros: Tolerant staff, Very friendly, wonderful sushi
• Cons: None!

One of my favorite restaurants in Portland

I've been going here for years and I don't have a single complaint. The food, from the sushi to the noodles (particularly the yakisoba, which I crave all the time) is well prepared, fresh and delicious, and the staff is fantastic, always friendly and personable. They don't even complain when we have a few too many saki bombs. Take some friends and go eat here!

Good Food, Good People, and Good Price

I'm quite fastidious about what I eat, especially fish.

I've been to lots of sushi restaurant, and Umenoki became one of my favorite restaurants after I tried their Sashimi.

I see a comments down there saying about their lack of freshness.

I don't belive that at all.

As a customer who's been there more than 50 times, i think they should be known as one of a "Fresh" sushi restaurants.

I guess some people just think oppositely.
