The Statue of Liberty stands over the oven, which has a kitsch collection at its base, including the shrunken head of Mario Cuomo. You'll find the basics: pepperoni, onions, olives, green peppers, mushrooms and sausage. With authentic New York-style thin crust, thick sauce and just the right amount of cheese, this joint proves some things are best kept simple.

People that complain about this place should be ostracized, and publicly humiliated. It's great.
service is what it should be, pithy. pizza is not some gourmet greek bull s!@t. They even take local check.
My fiance is on her way to pick it up now. I can't wait for it to get here.

How can you describe the perfect slice of Pizza? Is there anything better? Escape From New York is the only place I've visited in Portland that offers an authentic NY Slice. Perfect crust, perfect sauce, plenty of cheese. Even a little spicy NY attitude with your order. It's a glorious thing.

just had it for the first time and it was so good! the customer service was lacking a little and they took forever to take our order, but the pizza was stupendous!
