Used to be better, now overpriced and rude.. This is no longer so much a "thrift shop" as it is a wanna-be antique store whose inventory goes from junk to glorified and over-priced junk, with a few--very few--over-priced gems in-between. I've shopped here for ten years and started seeing the change around 4 years ago. I know the money they bring in, after paying staff and rent and utilities and this and that (the spare change) goes to a good non-profit cause, but the place has become a rip-off. Their pricing is inept: for example, I went to find a toaster oven to hold me over while I got a new stove. They had an old beaten up, disgusting toaster oven that only heated on the bottom for sale for $20 bucks. Um, I could get a new one for that. I headed over to the wine glasses section and found three RIEDEL stemless glasses (that retail for $25 bucks in a set of two), flawless, at .50 cents each. This is just one example of the careless pricing here. Sell the Riedel set for $15.00 and the toaster oven for $5. The lady who seems to be in charge of the place and it's pricing policy treats the customers very rudely. And god forbid you find what you were looking for and there is no price tag--they will snatch it from your hands, literally, and yell at you for even trying to buy something that they put out with no tag. And then they will scold you for asking when they may have a price for it so you could come back and buy it. And don't dare try and suggest to them that it goes for so-and-so amount on internet antique sites. You may know the item inside and out, you may be an expert on it, but they will still make you feel like an idiot.

Yet they still "keep it real" by selling used bras, socks, and underwear to the homeless and poor they should be helping out by donating such items, not selling them.

Sigh. Just disappointed.
