Wonderful flowers, great service. Just fantastic. They make other companies look pathetic. Great flowers, great service. I can't tell you how pleased I have been, three out of three orders now.
Really?!?! Thats Love?!?!. Valentines Day- Doorbell Rings 10 a.m. A delivery guy with a bouqet! My husband answered because I was very ill, he even asked the guy where the flowers were. The guy responded with they are still cold, once inside and warm they will get better. I looked at them and thought wow these came from a florist? Lots of buds yes however it was literally 3 stems of buds and 2 tiny stems of babies breath. Husband called the shop and they said oh put them in warm water that will open them right up, ok, did that, however now 72 hours later and not one has opened they have slightly changed to a pink color and brown tips. The leaves are now wilting and my husband feels horrible. Yes that is great you gave us our money back (3 days later after numerous emails and phone calls and being told thats how we get them so thats how you get them! Are you kidding me?) however you ruined a valentines day surpise! Never again would I ever use you or recommend you.
setting the record straight..
I read the review as doggyluva wrote. This business has been in business for nearly 25 yrs, and does not treat there customers as previously described. Luv n stuff has built an excellent reputation earning a place in the Treasures of Oregon book for good service as well as being in the top 75 ftd shops in the nation. I am sorry this person must have had a really bad day. I know this phone conversation did not happen as described, nor did they get hung up on as I personally took this phone call. We value our reputation as well as our customers.
Sincerely, the staff of Luv n stuff flowers and gifts.
BEST FLORIST IN TOWN!!. My experience with Luv'n'Stuff Flowers and Gifts has been excellent. I have been doing business with them for over 15 years and have nothing but the BEST to say about the arrangements, gifts, employees and the professional care I have recieved. I am very excited for them now in there NEW LOCATION on NW 23rd Ave. just around the corner from there old location. The new shop is AWESOME and has many new products to keep me coming back. A special thanks to Manager for taking care of all those last minute orders that are delivered here to my work. They are loved by everyone.
Best flowers in Portland. I read the previous review. I have not had this experience with this company and I have been in their shop a lot. They are very friendly and do great work. I know that they have been in business for many years. They are prompt in their deliveries and are one of the busiest shops in Portland
Still in 2009: Horrible people and even more horrible arrangements (read: Baby's Breath).
I've just read that the company posted that my review is not correct. I WAS having a bad day; you sent me cr@p flowers on my birthday and treated me similiarly. I'VE never dealt with uglier arrangements or ruder people. With so much competition, there isn't any reason to use this "florist". I received a horrendous bouquet and was HUNG UP ON! Yep. And all on my birthday!
--I RECEIVED an "Internet Special" of (apparently) out of season flowers so they were puny, ugly and filled with BABY'S BREATH (yes, baby's breath, like it was 1982).
--BECAUSE it was a gift (through an online floral site), I thought I'd called and get it squared away before my husband came home and freaked out at the three puny stalks of flowers with buds so small they would never open. The person on the phone was DEFENSIVE and plain RUDE. She explained that she can't be responsible for what the grower sent her, so I got what she had. She was sorry that I had a second choice filler, but that was what she had.
--THAT'S not an excuse. If I went to a restaurant and they only had old fish, I don't think i'd be okay with getting old fish because "that's what they had at the fish market." Weird, all very weird. Frankly, I expected her to (based on the "we gurantee your satisfaction" marketing BS included with the arrangement) that she'd ask me to stop in and she'd give me a better filler (at the VERY least.) But she didn't. And hung up on me. Yep.
-- PERHAPS they can get away with sending out baby's breath because they are so close to the hospital-- and sick people don't complain. I've actually used them to send flowers to a friend; and now I wonder what in god's name she got. Probably carnations with baby's breath. Ugh!!
