Best Kids Consignment in Portland!. I recently went to Zanzibar after not having been for several years. I had been to their Fremont location when they were under different ownership. Wow, this is a change for the better! The merchandise is still very high quality and I love the fact that they have a good selection for kids older than toddler age as well. The staff was very helpful and relaxed. I also went into their adult consignment shop and again the merchandise was very good quality and value. I will definitely be a regular shopper here.

It is under new ownership (mother and daughter team) and the store is better than ever! The owners are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in every way. The store is clean and stocked with lots of new and gently used brand name clothing, shoes, and baby accessories (hats, socks, etc). Their prices are very reasonable and comparable to or cheaper than other baby consignment stores for quality merchandise. The owners have reserved a small play area for kids to play while parents shop. The owners make it easy for customers to consign/trade their baby products and have a flexible exchange policy. Zanzibar is connected to Continuous Threads consignment store for women fashions. It is very enjoyable to shop for my baby and myself in one trip. I highly recommend this store.

A Excellent store. I have sold to Zanzibar many times and each time I am treated very well. The owner is honest and very friendly.

Shunned. After finally being "granted" an appointment to sell clothes to Zanzibar, the owner completely humiliated me by telling me how ridiculous the clothes were. While he was badmouthing my family's choice of the baby gifts that I was trying to unload, I tried asking questions about sizes of socks and shoes in his store. He talked to me like I was a total idiot (I'm a first time mom-I don't know much about sizes past 6 months) When I said" Isn't this size two for 2 year olds?" He said "No, I wear a size 9 that doesn't mean I'm 9 years old" The insulting treatment continued with each question I asked. I left shortly after that and will never step foot in his drab store again.

best selection of clothes in portland. I found this great resale store when returning books to the Hollywood library. They have been in business for 11 years but just recently moved to the Hollywood area. They have the best selection of resale clothes that I have ever seen. Great play area for the kids, and they have Robeez footwear for only $22.75!!

I've definitly seen cheaper prices but the quality and selection is well worth it.
