Best shoe repair in Stumptown!. I adore Alex! I bring him shoes constantly. I need a heel tap, a toe tap, my Birkenstocks totally reconstructed? He's my guy. He's super busy, but always takes the time to talk me through my repair, quotes fairly and turns around the order with speed. What's not to love? I highly recommend Hollywood shoe repair. I have expensive taste in shoes, and he treats me right.

Super Service. Needed zipper on husband bike boots fixed. He charged me less than originally quoted. Had it done in a day even though he looked busy. I highly recommend the store!

Hollywood Shoe Repair HAS MOVED a few blocks over. This business has moved just a few blocks from its old location. The new address is 4504 NE Sandy Blvd. I live in the neighborhood and bring my shoes here on a regular basis, so just wanted to let people know!

good work, prices seem decent. I had work done on a couple pairs of shoes. The price quotes was correct on one pair and cheaper on the second. Yea! Work was done on time and I am happy with it. Parking in front or right around corner.

Avarage until I find out the truth ... I have read these reviews and I'm not completely sure if this is the good place ( I find the reviews are so far apart in the times they were written, with the exception of the last reviews in 2008 back to back one bad and one good. It makes me wonder if the good one was an honest review . Hmmm?.. But, I'm going to take something in for repair this week and I will write a review after I'm done . I for one am great full for this forum and My review will be trust worthy. Promise.

Incredible Repairs and Service!. This is the best shoe repair hands down. When I walked in I felt welcomed and wanted. The owner is just super! I brought in some shoes to be repaired and I was surprised how fast he promised he would fix them. When I came to pick up the shoes, they were exactly how I dreamed they would be. But not only did he fix my shoes the way I wanted, he cleaned them and even put a shine on on them. The shoes looked brand new when he handed them to me, I was extremely satisfied.

If I have any other repairs or services on my shoes this is the only place in the world that I would take them. I most definitely recommend this place for anyone with shoe repair needs!

They will destroy your shoes!. I am so utterly upset at the horrible service I received at Hollywood Shoe Repair. I brought in a pair of high heeled shoes that were only two months old. The heels were in good condition, only the plastic sole was worn down to the pin and they needed to be repadded. As I was picking up my shoes, both heels had a 'Z' shaped zink in them. When I pointed out the damage, the owner insisted that I had brought in the shoes with that damage and requested that I pay the fee for the 'service.' I stated that the heels where not in fact damaged when I dropped them off for repairs, that I was upset that he would not take responsibility for the damage, payed the fee and left. I then took my shoes to another repair shop to see if the kink in my heels could be straightened out. I was told that the heels were damaged beyond repair and that the kink was caused by excessive hammer force. Upon learning this, I returned to Hollywood Shoe Repair to ask for my money back and for my shoes to be replaced. The owner avoided providing any customer service, raised his voice at me, and insisted that the damage was my fault. Why can't people take responsibility for their faulty actions? I WILL NEVER endorse the craftmanship at Hollywood Shoe Repair and recommend that the shop be avoided.

Best shoe repair in town. I used to go to another shoe repair, but i switched to hollywood shoes because they are professional, timely, and do very good work. The shop is clean and organized and your repair will bw done on time for a competitive price. If you love shoes, take car of them...

Wow. I brought in a boot that I tried to repair myself, and in doing so, I had shoe goo all over it. The guy at the Hollywood Shoe Repair not only removed all the goo, he made the boots (both of them) look better than when I bought them. All for $5! He now has my loyalty for all my shoe problems.
