Do Not Recommend if You Want Your Wedding Gown Stain Free. I was referred to Kim for alterations of my wedding gown, so I took it in to have her hem my gown. She indicated that she could pull it up at the waistline and not to worry about hemming the bottom, that would only cost more money. I am having an outdoor wedding, and told her I did not want any part of the gown on the ground. She said it would be easy to clean, by me, and not to worry, she would just take the front up a little. I also requested that she make a red sash as my dress came with a white one. She said it would cost $30. So I paid in advance and came back in a couple of weeks to pick up the dress.

I put on the dress and the first thing I noticed was a big black stain on the skirt of my dress. My dress was brand new, no stains, nothing on it. I had tried it on one time prior to bringing it in to her, and I tried it on in her store with my friend and her there, NO STAIN.

When I asked if the stain would come out, she kept telling me she didn't do it, she's very busy, she sewed the dress and hung it up in the back, she didn't do it. I hadn't even asked if she had done it. She assured me I could get the stain out and wouldn't need to dryclean it.

I have had it drycleaned, and they indicated that most of it came out, but it's still visible, and I have to go check to see if it's ok or not.

The lesson here; you get what you pay for! The sash is decent, not as high of quality as I would like, but it's ok. The dress still drags on the ground (I tried it on with my shoes both times) and now I have no clips on the sides to hold up my sash because she took them out or covered them. Not to mention I have a GREASE STAIN in my gown! The cleaner thinks it's grease that someone tried to clean off the gown (I did not dare touch the stain on my own).

Needless to say, I WILL NOT be going to this business for any future needs. It's been so stressful with my wedding in less than 2 weeks, I would never recommend this to anyone.
