I took my husbands two Tommy Bahama shirts there to be dry cleaned, one had a greasy stain on the front and the other had to mystery spots we couldnt firgure out. So we took them in and the guy helping us was very nice and helpful and told me my shirts would be ready the next day. So the next day we went to pick them up and when I got home I inspected them, well the two mystery spots were still there on one shirt and the other shirt was now free of the greasy spot but had come home with several new spots. So we called in and they told us to bring them back and they would take care of it. Well we went back a few days later to pick them up and one of the mystery spots was not touched because whatever they had put on the first one had pulled the dye out!! Yep pulled the dye out of a $130.00 dollar silk shirt, which by the way was the shirt my husband wore at our wedding. So out of fear of harming anything else they didnt touch the rest of the spots. So we then call to talk to one of the owners, Jennifer. She seems very nice and totally willing to try to fix the spots and possible bring back the color in the one spot where it was pulled out. She promises to call me the next day and let me know what was going on. Well 3 weeks later and plenty of un-returned messages left, I call up livid ready to threaten to call the Bettter Buisness Bureau, Oh your shirts are right here ready to go, oh no one ever called you I am so sorry. Yada yada yada. I go to pick them up and someone asked me if I got Jennifer's message, she tried to call and got my voicemail. Ahhh no she didn't, liars. So he promises she will call me again the next day to talk about my two shirts, I leave my name and number to make sure she has it. Well its been 5 days and still no call, and I now have two very expensive shirts that are ruined and they have no intentions of replacing them what-so-ever. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else, the price obviously reflects the value of workmanship.

Pros: none

Cons: everything

I've been using Tie's for years for my dry cleaning and I've never had a problem - with clothing. However, I recently took in a small flokati area rug, about 4' x 6'. They told me they had to send it out, and I said okay. I got the rug back more than a month later - long after it had been promised - paid $50, and found out when I got it home that, not only had the rug shrunk, it wasn't anywhere near clean - it had a large oily spot that was virtually untouched (the reason I took it in in the first place), and was still full of bits of thread and crumbs. I truly believe someone somewhere tossed it in a washing machine. In short, take your clothes there, don't ever take a rug.

Pros: Clothing

Cons: Rugs
