Avoid like a speedo worn by a sweaty Mario Battalli. This place needs to go out of business. As a cleaner it should be spotless- but no, it is grungy, the machines are old and many are out of order, and the owners are out of it. My negative review is based on a total lack of customer service when a load of clothes came out sopping wet- no matter how concisely I ran it down for the attendant there was no offer to make it right, only a response that somehow the problem was my fault. So frustrating. If this place was a biological entity it would be a tangled mass of chef Battali's a$$ hair clogging a drain- best avoided at all costs.…
Worst Laundromat in Portland. The atmosphere is grungy, and it is often filled with strangers not washing clothes. The machines are old and malfunction frequently. The staff is very unfriendly and rude. The dry clean service is poor, do not be surprised if your items turn up missing. Although this is the nearest laundromat to my home, I refuse to go there.…
Unethical business and very, very rude.. I brought a sweater in to be cleaned. I marked several spots that needed attention. When I went to pick up the sweater the first time, there was a completely different stain on the front of the sweater. I asked for it to be cleaned again specifically mentioning that the stain was not there when I brought the sweater in. They agreed to reclean it. When I returned to pick up the sweater, the stain, which originally was not on the sweater, was still there. I asked to have my sweater returned. They insisted that I pay for the ruined sweater and took it to the back. I insisted that my sweater be returned and they refused. They were incredibly rude and would not return the sweater until I paid. They even walked away when I complained. Ignoring me completely. I will never return to this cleaners and would advise others to stay away.…
Unbelievably rude.
I don't know how this place stays in business other than that it has no competition in the area.
My husband refuses to go here anymore, even though we have to drive quite a way to find any other laundromat. He washed and dried a shirt here a few months ago and it came out of the dryer with grease stains it didn't have when it went in. He took it to the lady at the counter, not to demand anything but just to let her know that one of her machines might have a problem and all she said was 'No!'
Non-plussed he said "Look, that's just rude, I'm probably not going to come back after that."
She replied: "Good!"
Later I was there alone but chatting to a lovely older lady who couldn't see the instructions on top of the machines. She had been up to the counter to tell the lady there and she said "What do you want me to do about it?"
I don't understand business owners who are consistently this rude. Everyone has a bad day now and then but the people here seem stuck in some sort of dark vortex.
Avoid like the plague.…
unexceptable service. recently i took some items in to be dry cleaned, purchased the service, which wasn't cheap...returned the next day with a numbered receipt and was informed that my items were released to someone else without my permision......the management did nothing to rectify the situation and told me that i was SOL.....so, if you value your posessions, don't take them there…
