Folks come here to enjoy a friendly game of darts or just admire the numerous photos of patrons sporting Lucky Lab T-shirts at worldwide destinations. Some customers bring Bowser along for a play date on the dog-friendly patio while sipping on a chilly pint.

What a better place to have a few really amazing beers, freshly brewed, and of alternating flavors to the weather season, and as the "Recession Session" brew came out, economic conditions. If the beer weren't enough to attract you to this close, easy access bar on Hawthorne, but the food is worth the journey alone. Try the Spicy Curry Chicken Bento, its rumored that one of the owners found the recipe for it in a visit to Thailand years ago. Beyond that, and the multiple locations, you feel at home and happy at the Lucky Labaradore and can't help but get sucked into the fandom as you see the many shirts and stickers you can get of the faithful labradore, and the many customers whom mailed in "I was there" photos across the world wearing Lucky Lab apparel. For a visit to Portland or for any Local, the Lucky Labradore is a must try!

I meet at the Lucky Lab on Quimby every month with a large group of people (average 20.) We are kind of noisy but no one seems to mind. There is a great selection of beer on tap. The food isn't the best in the world, but has always been appropriately cooked. They offer some neat sandwich options. I wasn't impressed with the corn chowder- it wasn't thick at all. The waitstaff are attentive, but not talkative. Overall- a great place for groups but probably not somewhere you'd want to go for just dinner.

We have been the a couple of times,enjoyed the beer,nice porch to bring the dog hang out with friends and have a beer!!

Try one of the fabulous bentos or a tidbit from the tasty and varied herbivore vs. carnivore menu.
Save Money:
Every Monday is Miser Monday, when pints of house ales are $2.25 and cask-conditioned and nitro brews are $2.75.
Look Good:
A private room is available for casual gatherings or business meetings for about 50 people. The price includes the bartender.
Know Before You Go:
Minors are welcome until 9pm.
