Don't miss the potatoes!!!. We love these guys! It's not fancy, but one of our favorite neighborhood places! Definitely try their special potatoes and not the previously frozen hashbrowns. It's their breakfast specialty and quite tasty!

It's family operated and their young children are often there with their grandparents- family business the way they always used to be! We love going here, we love the food, and we love seeing the family spending their days together!

Great Food, Awesome Service, Perfect Diner. I read about the Tabor Hill Cafe online and wanted to check it out. Although I have been on Hawthorne many times, I have never noticed it, even though its location is pretty central. It is very small and easy to miss. The service/host/cook was super friendly and nice and was a great server. I had the tuna melt and it was THE BEST TUNA MELT I have ever had. I don't know what was different about it, but it was awesome. My boyfriend had the bacon burger and said it was great as well. The menu had pictures of nearly every item which was a nice touch, although I don't know how necessary it is to have a picture of bacon. The prices were very moderate and the value was great. The decor was very diner like, nothing too hip. Overall, a really great little restaurant.

great place for the very best blueberry pancakes. 9/11/2007 best blueberry pancakes in town. we love to go here anytime since breakfast is served all day. very affordable and can bring the family elaine
