not so awesome.
by epicuriousgeorge
I've been to this establishment twice, in search of gluten-free pizza. Alas, both times they said the kitchen was closed for the night and couldn't fulfill my request. And they weren't the most polite or hospitable about it either. Hmm... thanks. So... being that I was hungry... grabbed a slice of their (1st time) sun-dried tomato, spinach, feta... the tomatoes were super chewy and way too tangy. (2nd time) had a slice of mushroom... the mushrooms were piled unevenly in the middle of the slice. Their crust is thick and fluffy, very yeasty. Not my favorite... but it's okay. Well... it would be okay if it was hot. But. No. Room temp (both times). Pulled out from under a heat lamp and put right on my plate. Anyway, to make a long story short, this place kinda s u c k s , but it's decent if you like over-priced, mediocre, fluffy crust, room temperature pizza. Hooray. You'll never see me there again. Go to Bella Faccia if you're craving awesome pizza.
- Pros: gluten-free pizza (though never got to try it)
- Cons: over-priced, mediocre pizza
They made us feel like 3rd class customers

1. The Lady at the counter was rude, with a very bad attitude. She made my friend, daughter and I, feel like a 3rd class customers.."even after she saw me leave a $5.00 tip.
2. Our sodas were flat.
3. We had to wait 45 minutes for our Pizza while there were New Customers coming and going.
4. To be honest, it was the worst experience that I ever had at a restaurant..."I used to be a Head Chef and my friend used to be a Chef too, So we dine out every week and we always leave a decent tip"......IS IT BECAUSE I USED A COUPON??
- Pros: I thought that there were some..but I was wrong
- Cons: Everything
Fantastic Gluten Free Pizza
by HollyHocks
A few weeks ago I noticed a sign in the window at Oasis for gluten free pizza. I have never stopped in before because my kids are gluten intolerant and they are always with me when I go by the cafe on my way to Powells and Greggs. Finally stopped in this week and ordered a gluten free pizza for my kids. It was amazing- we did a half order of cheese and half sausage. Best gluten free pizza we have tried. Actually on par with some of the best regular pizza we have had as well. Price was reasonable too- any of us who have to buy gluten free know how expensive it is!
Hopefully more folks start ordering it too they can start serving it by the slice (right now you can only get it as a whole pie).
